Editor’s Kadence Experience and Review

This was the most luxurious omakase experience that I’ve ever had.

It was a food adventure that took me outside of my comfort as I didn’t know what the chef had in mind for us.

When I arrived at this unassuming location, I waited in a small bar area and chatted with other foodie enthusiasts as we patiently waited to be seated.

We were then met by the chef’s wife who escorted us to our seats that were perfectly placed for us to view the “entertainment” for the night.

Now I’m braver than most when it comes to trying new food but I’m still not the bravest so I was a bit nervous.

This was mainly due to the fact that I didn’t want to offend the chef if there was something that didn’t agree with my tastebuds.

Time to Eat!

During the first part of my meal we tried a variety of appetizer-like dishes that were paired with the best sake before we got into the star of the show which was the nigiri.

Overall, everything was exquisitely paired together. I had some of the freshest fish ever and each bite was perfectly crafted by the chef.

I could tell that he loved what he did as he handed each and every one of us an amazing piece of this foodie artwork to enjoy.

Because I ate so many dishes that night and I didn’t receive a menu, it’s hard to list everything I tried.

However, I will say that the Japanese Red Snapper stood out to me due to its outstanding flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

I did try Uni for the first time that evening as well but it’s a flavor that still has to grow on me. Honestly, I’m still trying to understand the hype around.

What I did love was conversing with the new people that I had met while I was there on a solo date.

We were all excited to be there and since the dining room was on the smaller side, it made for quite an intimate setting.

After dinner, we were given a rice ball to enjoy the following day at home which was another highlight for me.

Overall, Kadence is a one-of-a-kind omakase experience in Orlando, Florida that you have to try at least once!
